Opinion: Truth in advertising is the best policy airfare

(CNN) -we’ve all seen that “many” airline advertising, only to find the additional charges, taxes and fees, many are not so great. Starting Thursday, when the airline saw a price of $ 500 consumer, who will be the price advertised they pay. (Of course, will still be some cost “optional” extra luggage fees as annoying as seat reservations, etc.)

Here’s a synopsis of the new rules take effect this week affect airfares and airline fees:

Beginning Thursday, all advertised airline prices should be the full cost of travel. Airlines squirm, claiming that their businesses will suffer if it is necessary to advertise the full cost of travel and suggested that consumers will be scared away when they saw a surge in the price when this rule applies. Consumers can see what seems to be a price increase, but only transparency and honesty will be blamed.

Comment: new rule making airfares look taller

Many airlines and some analysts argue that making airlines that play with the rules of another industry is, well, UN-American. However, the Department of Transportation has found himself all but forced to act because of the astounding difference in price advertised and real price of air travel.

Fisker Karma: luxury buyers will go for ‘ Eco Chic? ‘ (Review)

I took a drive today in the Fisker Karma, luxury four-door electric car that uses a gas generator to extend range. Immediate impression is very good. Car walks, rides and accelerate smoothly with the feel of a typical luxury sedan is strong like a Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 series.

The main difference is that Karma is slung low looks more like an exotic sports car that happened to have four doors. Although clearly competing with four-door sports cars like the Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide, is more than an alternative to the large sedan in terms of performance.

The car also gave the owner a considerable amount of control over managing energy. The Switch behind the wheel, where the transmission-shifter paddles was in another car, allows the driver selects the mode of economy or performance and to adjust the rate at which the regenerative braking systems of energy feed back to the battery. If you are driving in a hilly area that You can increase the amount of energy generated while the charge down the Hill.

2013 Audi A4

What I don’t understand is how this car only had 21 and 29 MPG. Upcoming got the S8 at, and it is heavier cars with twice as many HP, cylinder twice as much, and could hit 60 in 2.5 seconds. I think something may be off by these numbers.

It will sell, that’s all that matters … more that 40-year-old man.

I’ve never been a fan of Audi due to lack of steering feel (Unfortunately, most of the other car companies seem to have their direction), but my biggest complaint with the A4 is a back seat. I took a trip 2 hours in the back of my friend’s 2012 S-Line A4 (or S4 or however they are naming them today) and I must say, I’ve never been very uncomfor in the car. They have lowered the seat almost to the floor to get sufficient headroom, and as the person in front of me 6 ‘ 3

When I got my drivers licence I’ve always wanted to Audi, I like the first version of the single-frame grille, but the current version is starting to annoy me.

they have to try something new.

the interior looks great, and I’m sure it’s a great quality wise car. ..

While this is of very high quality and there is nothing wrong with that, not only evokes the elegance of the interior or even beauty to my eye as a whole, perhaps, but not class beauty. I also don’t feel it shows any driver that compactness-oriented asymmetric ethos. It can be, but not and don’t feel like Audi makes every step to make it so. For example, juts out piles of Center Street and away from the passenger seat implicitly make every effort to make passengers feel unwelcome, not embrace them as a guest driver. You can have a driver-oriented cabin while integrating, not separate. Also, wood trim above the glove box seems to be nothing more than an afterthought to break up the monotony that is going to be there without it. It serves the purpose of the design of the bandages.

And do they really complement many of the great cars that used to have when sharpening front fascia only? Sigh. Perhaps a new exterior looks better in person.

It seems like Audi began to rest on its laurels. I don’t know, a hunch that the A4 begins to bore me.
